From one shophouse to Maharat Road
ครัวของเราเริ่มจากห้องแถวคูหาเดียวในเมืองกระบี่เมื่อปี 2522 วันนี้อยู่ริมถนนมหาราช ยังทำแกงส้มเครื่องแกงใต้ หมูฮ้อง แฮกึ้น และน้ำพริกกุ้งสด ให้ทั้งคนกระบี่และคนที่แวะมาเที่ยว ข้าวสวยเราเสิร์ฟให้ฟรี
ร้านโกตุงเปิดขายครั้งแรกในปี พ.ศ. 2522 เป็นร้านอาหารเล็ก ๆ คูหาเดียว อยู่ใกล้สะพานเจ้าฟ้า ถนนคงคาปากน้ำ ในตัวเมืองกระบี่ เลข 2522 ที่ต่อท้ายชื่อเพจเฟซบุ๊กของเราก็มาจากปีที่เริ่มต้นนั้น
เมื่อปี 2559 MGR Online เล่าไว้ว่าครัวนี้สืบทอดมาถึงรุ่นที่สองแล้ว รุ่นนี้ขยายร้านให้ใหญ่และทันสมัยขึ้น แล้วย้ายมาอยู่ที่ถนนมหาราช รับลูกค้าได้ถึงราว 300 คน
อาหารของเรามีทั้งอาหารพื้นบ้านปักษ์ใต้ อาหารไทย-จีน และอาหารทะเล จานใต้ใช้เครื่องแกงรสเข้มแบบคนใต้ ส่วนจานจีนอย่างแฮกึ้นสดทอดและหมูฮ้องก็อยู่ในเมนูเดียวกัน ข้าวสวยร้อน ๆ เราเสิร์ฟให้ฟรีทุกโต๊ะ

We started as a one-room shophouse in Krabi town in 1979. Today, on Maharat Road, we still cook southern sour curry, braised pork belly, prawn rolls and fresh prawn chilli relish, and the steamed rice is on us.
Kotung opened in 1979 as a small one-room restaurant near the Chao Fah bridge on Khongkha Pak Nam Road in Krabi town; the 2522 in our Facebook name is that year in the Thai calendar.
In 2016 MGR Online reported that the second generation had taken over, enlarged the restaurant and moved it to Maharat Road, with room for about 300 diners.
The menu mixes southern home cooking, Thai-Chinese dishes and seafood. Steamed rice is free, and we take bookings for banquets, weddings and tour groups.
